Impact Teen Drivers Presentations
Locations: Several junior high and senior high schools in the northwest region of North Dakota
Event Description: Impact Teen Drivers is an evidence-based program that encourages teens to take the lead in peer-to-peer messaging in their schools and communities. Local law enforcement answer and questions the students may have about traffic laws in North Dakota.

High School SIDNE Events
Locations: Several schools including Nedrose High School, Rugby High School, Glenburn High School, Ray, Watford City, Alexander, South Prairie, Surrey, Max.
Event Description: Simulated Impaired Driving Experiences (SIDNE) vehicles were utilized at several high schools for educational outreach. Local law enforcement from the area interacted with students using fatal vision goggles and answering questions the students may have about traffic laws in North Dakota.
Vision Zero Schools
Locations: Des Lacs-Burlington (2022), Killdeer (2022)
Description: A Vision Zero School believes that the only acceptable number of fatalities and serious injuries caused by motor vehicle crashes is zero. School staff and participating student leaders will create a culture of personal responsibility in their school where motor vehicle fatalities and serious injuries are recognized as preventable and not tolerated. Vision Zero Schools gives students the opportunity to be traffic safety advocates by appearing in banners, PSAs, videos and more to share motor vehicle safety messages in their school and community.

Vision Zero Nights
Locations: Souris Valley Sabredogs, Minot Minotauros, Nodak Speedway, PBR Rodeo
Event Description: Vision Zero Nights involved partnering up with a local organization(s) that showcased a Vision Zero booth, messaging and interactive traffic safety tools. Local and statewide law enforcement were involved which had them with their own outreach booths, vehicles and their interactive tools. Vision Zero supports the local organization(s) by providing materials that they can use as a public service to their fans/customers/etc.
Vision Zero at Community Events
Locations: KMOT Ag Expo, Logger Fest, Norsk Hostfest & multiple conferences
Click-It for Coffee
Date of Event: May 24th, 2021 & May 24th, 2022
Time: 7am – 2pm
Location: Broadway Bean and Bagel
Event Description: Representatives from Vision Zero, along with local law enforcement are encouraging seat belt use in exchange for coffee with a new event, Click It for Coffee. The public was invited to Broadway Bean and Bagel in Minot. If a driver was wearing their seat belt, they would have received $1 off their order and a coupon for $0.50 off a specialty drink for their next visit in June!
